Link Contracts
From InternetIdentityWorkshop
This is pragmatic approach to some of the issues dealing with link contracts.
The context is the relationship between two businesses or an individual and a business.
The subset of topics are: termination (what happens to shared information?) retraction (we're done, I want my stuff back.) anonymous authentication (I need some information from you to give to someone else, but I need to know it is yours and is valid.)
Some illustrations.

Drug Trial
I am a drug company scientist running a drug trial that is performed by doctors at independent clinics. Part of the trial requires looking for attributes which may be associated with negative reactions at different dosage levels. I need to create a document called a "protocol" that defines what a doctor should do and what information they should collect. We need to be able send a protocol so everyone has it prior to a specified start date, but ensure that no one follows it to that date (i.e. it is embargoed). We also need to ensure that when a protocol expires OR is rescinded that it is destroyed and can no longer be accessed by the doctors. We need to ensure that each doctor collects attributes assigned with unique patients, but the doctor is required by HIPAA to not release to us information that would identify each individual. Doctors need to be able to write data collected to a place owned by the company, but once received, they must no longer have access to it because of FDA rules.
