Simple notes from the meeting (my perspective) -- George Fletcher
You == 'carbon based life form'
Federation
- easier to accept federation if in the assertion there is some indication of value/strength/taxonomy of the 'you'
- describing claims of the identity
Types of 'You'
- my identity (personal)
- personal vs professional
- external vs private
- activity based
- profile attributes
- work, play and private
- I think these are more sets of claims about the identity
- identity attributes can be facts (over 21) and things I've done (driving history)
- need to keep in context who is "authoritative" for a given attribute
- how to verify attributes "asserted" by me or others when "showing up" at the site
- financial institutions really care
- believe its important to define taxonomies for sharing of attributes
- defined within specific domains
- too hard to parameterize it yet for federation
